Aikido Manawatu was founded in 2002 in Palmerston North and is led by Ian Drew, Yon Dan.

Our dojo is the Palmerston North Tatsu Gi Kai Aikido dojo. We are affiliated with the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo  Japan, through Robert Nadeau 8th Dan Aikido shihan of the California Aikido Association.

Our Chief Instructor based in Rotorua, is Sensei Dianne Haynes 6th Dan.
